One of my biggest accomplishments in 2023 was having the pleasure to work closely with some amazing woman to write my first book. When I found out my son had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, my world fell apart for the 2nd time. My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 6 years prior. After the shock wore off, I realized I need to share my story. I realized that God had placed these children in my hands for a reason. Not only did it mean I was equipped to parent these children I also needed to let others know they were too.
It's hard to feel like you have what you need when you have to fight for basic needs for your children. Jesus has been by myside every step of the way. I am here to share my story so others can see his Glory and feel impowered to keep moving forward.

Do you have story to tell?
After publishing my book about my life a few months ago, I have had many people ask me how I did it. They have been asking because they too want to share their own story and are unsure where to begin. I would not have been able to publish my own book without the help of others who had done this themselves. I was able to get a lot of advice and direction from my author friends and now I want to do the same for others. I have created two different guides to help others like me.
When I first got the desire to start writing, I had no idea what I was doing but I knew it was possible. I knew I had the desire for a reason, and I was not going to let the unknown stop me. I believe everyone has a story to share and we can all learn from each other. Some stories are meant to be shared on a greater level than others. If you have been given the desire to share your story don't let not knowing where to start hold you back. I am here to help others share their stories. Both of my guides will help you begin your writing journey, and one will guide you through the whole process.
We are not meant to live life alone and we are to learn from each other. We cannot learn from each other if we don't share our stories. My life's journey was not a walk in the park, and I wanted to be able to help others who have or are going through the same things I had. I battled with feelings of doubt during my writing process however I was always reminded of why I was doing it, and I didn't stop until it was done.
